What do you get when you mix the cast of Syfy’s GHOSTUNTERS with one of the Ghostfacers from the fan-favorite show SUPERNATURAL? You get an awesome, creepy, ghostly good time, that’s what. Which is exactly what happened at Long Beach Comic Con at the panel called: The Paranormal Experience, Hosted by TAPS West Coast and Travis Wester, from Supernatural.
The California-based paranormal investigative team TAPS West Coast, who are the featured players on Syfy’s Ghosthunters, hosted the panel. They had Travis Wester, aka Harry Spangler, one of the Ghostfacers from Supernatural, as their special guest.

CAN PEOPLE BE HAUNTED?
In this first video, Travis asks the question: A lot of time on the show Supernatural, there’s a spirit that’s not tied to a location, but rather, to an individual. Do you find that that happens sometimes in real life?
Jerry answers: There a lot of things that are tied to a location, but there are some that are attached to people. Check out his answer in the video.
ONE THE SCARIEST EXPERIENCES THE GHOSTHUNTERS HAVE EVER FACED
During one particularly scary experience, the Ghosthunters were trying to help a family whose daughter had become “darker” after playing with Oiji boards and Wicca. She had become interested in dark spells. While sitting in the room with the daughter, the TAPS team saw a scary “bald man” walk in and sit on the bed beside Dave. But the bald man was a ghost! – they even got a photo of it! And Dave began having difficulties breathing, feeling pressure on his chest as if something was attacking him! It was one of their scarier experiences, and one which caused them to leave that house, refusing to return. Watch the video here:
ABOUT GHOST HUNTERS: A pair of plumbers moonlight as ghostbusters for clients who report paranormal phenomena. Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson founded TAPS, the Atlantic Paranormal Society, in 1990 as an extension of their interest in the paranormal, and since that time they have made it their life’s work — when they’re not unclogging drains, that is — to help individuals or groups throughout the country who feel they have been affected by seemingly unexplained disturbances. Grant left TAPS and the show in 2012, leaving Jason as the team’s lead investigator.
