I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say that comic books are becoming an endangered species at comic cons…and for those who don’t know, the word “comic con” is actually a shortened way to say “comic convention.” In other words, comic books are the heart and soul of these fan conventions, although they’ve been pushed aside these past few years to make way for TV, movies and video games. NOT THAT TV and FILM aren’t awesome, (we all have our favorite shows) but it’s always refreshing to find true-blue comic-book lovers, artists, and writers at the various comic-cons.
