Are you a backyard haunter? Do you thrive on producing your own haunted experiences, sets, monsters and scares? Are you interested in seeing how the spooks and monsters get made? Then get ready to go behind-the-scenes at one of the most famous haunted cruise ships in the world.

The Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor, Southern California’s Halloween attraction based in Long Beach’s famous Queen Mary steamer ship, celebrates its tenth year with six haunted mazes based on six ghost stories from the haunted ship’s past. The event runs now through November 2, 2019. Returning to the 10th annual Dark Harbor by popular demand is the exclusive backstage experience Dark Hour – A Look Behind the Screams!, which offers thrill seekers and haunt enthusiasts a special inside glimpse into the spine-chilling event.

On select nights, brave fans are invited to mingle with the signature monsters of Dark Harbor for photo ops and conversation while indulging in delicious hors d’oeuvres, meat selections, and specialty cocktails (available for purchase). They can then meet the creature creators during a Q&A session with the producer of Dark Harbor for insight into fan-favorite mazes, lead monsters, and the world-famous ghost stories.

Following the VIP cocktail hour, a private escort will lead Dark Hour guests to an exclusive patio for a behind-the-scenes viewing of the Dark Harbor opening ceremony, after which each guest will receive an Evil Express pass to all six mazes including the newest maze, Rogue. This ticket is only offered on select nights, October 11, 18, 25, and 31, from 5:30 – 6:45 p.m. The Dark Harbor opening ceremony starts at 7 p.m. Dark Hour tickets are for guests 21+ only and are priced at $180 per person. Tickets are super limited, so if you want to go behind-the-screams for this up-close look at the makings of one of Southern California’s coolest haunt events, you’d better act fast.
