WELL it’s about darn time! The brand new trailer for ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY premiered last month at London’s Star Wars celebration. Many fans (including us!) waited that day for the trailer to drop online. NO LUCK. Next day? Same thing. Weeeeeellll, now we’ve got word that the trailer will drop Thursday night, sometime during the Olympics.
Here’s what we heard from the International Business Times:
On Thursday the second trailer for the “Star Wars” prequel will be shown during a broadcast of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. It remains unclear what time the trailer will be shown, though NBC has plans to air live coverage of the events. The network, along with its subsidiaries, will be airing live coverage from 12:35 a.m. to 1:35 a.m. EDT, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. EDT and once more from 8 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. EDT on Thursday.
We’ll be watching!
