MARVEL’S BLACK WIDOW DELAYED UNTIL MAY 2021 — DISAPPOINTING, BUT NOT SURPRISING

Even though the brand-new WANDAVISION trailer racked up a MONUMENTAL number of views in just its first 24 hours after premiering during the Emmys, demonstrating that fans are DESPERATELY EAGER for more action from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Disney announced today that the hotly anticipated BLACK WIDOW film would be delayed until 2021 because of the ongoing shutdowns and concerns over the Coronavirus.

It had been set to hit the big screen on Nov. 6. It will now open on May 7, 2021. In turn, Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is being pushed from the May 7 date to July 9, 2021. (Marvel’s The Eternals also has a new date.)

The King’s Man is being moved from Feb. 26, 2021, to Feb. 12, 2021. That Feb. 12 date had been when Marvel’s The Eternals, was going to come out, but Marvel is moving it to Nov. 5, 2021. Lots of shuffling going on.
