Actors Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston of Breaking Bad started cooking up something new. They’re not cooking meth anymore, they’re cooking mezcal tequila. The Breaking Bad stars shared their mezcal, Dos Hombres on Instagram Live today to celebrate Cinco De Mayo. They take their mezcal as seriously as Walt and Jesse would their pure crystal methamphetamine, Blue Sky, so you know it’s got to be the bomb!
On their website at doshombres.com they shared:
“We started Dos Hombres to create a Mezcal that we thought was perfect. A unique blend of the finest Espadin agave, hand-selected from the hillsides of a small village in Oaxaca, Mexico.”
“We found the best mezcal we’ve ever tasted. Our quest was to reach for perfection in aroma, flavor, strength, and smoothness.”
– Aaron Paul & Bryan Cranston
On Instagram Live, they also shared drink recipes and fun stories but most importantly that 100% of all online sales today go to three really valuable charities, the Bartender’s Guild, the Hospitality Industry Relief Fund, and America’s Food Fund.
TheConGuy.com was late to the party today, but we captured what we could of the Instagram Live conversation. (Excuse our pop up notifications….) Bryan and Aaron’s banter and friendship is as good as ever, and Aaron Paul stated that he considered Bryan Cranston his mentor, but that soon turned into them playfully poking at each other. Aaron said that Bryan was the most professional actor he’s ever met, but also the most immature since Bryan doesn’t take himself too seriously, but Aaron thinks is a good thing.
They encouraged the audience to share their recipes with them and that someone will read every message that comes in. Check out their website dosombres.com and social media for more information and recipes to celebrate Cinco De Mayo with Walter White and Jesse Pinkman!
As an extra bonus, Bryan Cranston made fun of Aaron Paul’s recipe of only ice with the Dos Hombres, mezcal, so Aaron filmed himself after making a margarita.
