FX OFFSITE – Hilton Bayfront Lawn
Acclaimed FX series The Bear makes its San Diego Comic-Con debut this year as part of FX’s annual activation #FXSDCC. The “FX Fearless Hellevator” takes fans on a ride through 12 spine-chilling moments from the American Horror Story universe, along with a glimpse into the world of Grotesquerie, the new Ryan Murphy horror series premiering this fall. Pose for photos outside Paddy’s Pub from “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.” What We Do in the Shadows — Vampire Residence gives fans a final chance to visit the Staten Island mansion.

AVA FEST – ABBOTT ELEMENTARY
ABC’s Abbott Elementary is bringing A.V.A. Fest (A Very Abbott Festival) to SDCC to Fifth Avenue Landing, behind the convention center— no badge needed. Enjoy rides and attractions inspired by some of the funniest Abbott Elementary moments, and an hourly live performance from the official Philadelphia Eagles Drumline — and an exclusive festival playlist curated by The Roots legend (and Ava’s former bandmate) Questlove.

Kat Cafe

Superhero Tea
The Westgate Hotel is once again hosting a Superhero Tea in their Grand Lobby, 1pm-5pm daily, featuring gourmet tea sandwiches, house-made pastries, signature desserts, premium teas, and cocktails, along with live music from a harpist. Reservations are $59 for adults plus tax, or $35 for children 2-12. Children under the age of two are free. Book a reservation now

Cielo Rooftop Lounge
On the 5th floor of 701 Sixth Avenue, it’ll be a non-stop party each day 12pm – 2am. XOSOHO will have a daily arcade themed cosplay party, nightly live DJs, an augmented art Heroes & Villains installation by renowned artist Pako Pablos, “The Geek Round Table” livestream podcast with guests, a Friday night Kiss tribute band “KISSED ALIVE,” National Lampoon Stand Up Comedy and so much more. Hulu Animayhem’s Factory at San Diego Comic-Con with Family Guy, The Simpsons, Futurama, Bob’s Burgers, and more.
Fans of all ages can interact with their favorite shows and take home themed memorabilia from popular titles like Solar Opposites, Hit Monkey, Futurama, The Simpsons, and many more. Enjoy immersive activities, such as a theatrical Cutawayland that celebrates Family Guy’s 25th Anniversary, a singing booth from Bob’s Burgers that showcases beloved songs from the series and a life-size replica of the Slurm Factory from Futurama.

Unknown Comics Pop Up Shop

Gotham Ice Truck
July 25 through Saturday, July 27, the Gotham Ice Truck will offer free Slush Puppies. The cups will feature a QR code providing a chance to receive an invitation to “The Iceberg Lounge” Experience.

HoYoFair Fan Art Covention
Genshin Impact fans will enjoy the Gallery at Omni San Diego Hotel, 675 L Street (across the street from the Omni Hotel) for the “Teyvat Fashion Show,” which will feature concept art of popular characters from the game, fanart, and swag, including Laser Tote Bags and Special Invitation Cards, on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

Box Lunch Truck
Fans will find the truck at the corner of First St. & J (from 10am-7pm Thursday to Saturday and 11am-4pm on Sunday). BoxLunch grab bag, filled with accessories and surprises from favorite fandoms. On Saturday, July 27 from 10am-7pm, BoxLunch will also be partnering with FiGPiN for a “FiGPiN Day” event, with the chance to get rare artist proof pins and other surprises. The fan-favorite boat, brought to you by IMDb, is back Thursday-Saturday, docked at Fifth Avenue Landing, directly behind the convention center. The boat will be open to guests from 10am to 4pm on Thursday through Saturday plus several special after-hours events.

Doctor Who x Star Trek Friendship Is Universal Gallery
The two beloved franchises will open up the “Friendship is Universal” celebratory gallery experience at 226 and 230 5th Avenue in the Gaslamp,

Those About to Die Chariot Racing
Peacock is setting the stage for an electrifying experience at the “Circus Maximus”, where attendees can dive into the ancient world of chariot racing. The experience at San Diego Comic-Con will be in NBCUniversal’s usual “home base” at the convention, just outside of Baja Rick’s (formerly Tin Fish), at 170 Sixth Ave.

Reservation spots are still sold out, but there will be a stand-by line on-site. In addition, as the Olympics are happening during San Diego Comic-Con, Peacock will live-stream the Opening Olympics Ceremony on Friday, July 26 on a 20×30 foot digital board. The event begins with a band, clad in Ancient Roman attire, parading through the Gaslamp District while playing Olympic-themed music. They will converge at Peacock’s “Circus Maximus” activation, marking the start of the Opening Ceremony. Stop by to watch from 10:30am-3pm on Friday.

Shaun of the Dead Immersive Pop-Up Experience
In honor of the film’s 20th anniversary, Focus Features is having an immersive offsite at 520 Fifth Ave which will recreate the Winchester Tavern and other iconic settings from the movie, with interactive photo ops, complimentary cans of themed beer courtesy of Beer Zombies (21+, while supplies last), exclusive merch, game demos, giveaways, and more. Reservation slots are open to the public, but walk-ups welcome.

Peanuts “Animated” Pop-Up Shop
A free pop-up shop featuring enormous video walls celebrates Peanuts, from A Charlie Brown Christmas to all classic and original programming available on Apple TV+. There will be a screening area on the patio in front of the pop-up, where viewers can watch select episodes of the new Apple TV+ series, Camp Snoopy. The shop will feature info on Schulz, Mendelson, the late Peanuts animator/director Bill Melendez and the legacy of Vince Guaraldi’s music. Visitors can take advantage of fun photo opps amid such iconic Peanuts animation scenes as The Great Pumpkin Patch; Snoopy in the kitchen for Thanksgiving; and a scene from A Charlie Brown Christmas, and enjoy meet-and-greets with the Snoopy costume character. 200 J. Bathroom Battlestation
The Finnish mobile gaming company, Supercell, will be in the Parking Lot at the corner of First Ave and Island Ave (450 Second Ave) with a “Bathroom Battlestation,” featuring three fully functioning toilet stalls that will bring the game to life, with 2-in-1 raid and recharge stations. Check out the game with free WiFi, special giveaways, and more.
