Frank Miller is having his moment—again. In a brand-new documentary about his life coming to theaters next month, the biggest names from comic books and Hollywood line up to give their opinions and praises regarding the legendary comic book artist and writer behind such unforgettable works as The Dark Knight Returns, Sin City and 300. He also wrote and drew standout runs of comics featuring Batman, Daredevil, Wolverine, and more. His fingerprints helped to shape these characters for years to come.

FRANK MILLER: AMERICAN GENIUS documents the half-century career of Miller, following his near-death experience. It details his radical influence on art, storytelling and culture.

There will be a June 6 sneak preview at New York’s the Angelika theater with guest moderator Neil Gaiman, followed by the June 10 premiere at Cinemark Theaters in Los Angeles. The LA event will feature a live introduction with Miller, moderated by Rosario Dawson, at the Cinemark Playa Vista at 5 p.m. PT and live-streamed to all other theaters across the country.

Some of the big names in the film include Neal Adams, Robert Rodriguez, Jessica Alba, Jim Lee, Zack Snyder, and the late Stan Lee.
