He always said “He’d be back,” and that’s a good thing — because Arnold may be humanity’s last, best hope. That’s according to a new poll out of the U.K. where 2,000 people were asked which celebrity or public figure would be the best person to defend the earth against an imminent alien invasion.
And what did the former Terminator star say about this news once he heard? “I want to thank the people for putting their faith in me. I am ready to serve,” he joked on Twitter.

The study of 2,000 British adults (“study”? really?) asked which celebrity or public figure they believe would be the most qualified to defend against an alien invasion. Not surprisingly, Mr. “Independence Day” himself Will Smith was a close second, and Sir David Attenborough came third. Also on the list were Bruce Willis and Tom Cruise. The ultimate alien ass-kicker Sigourney Weaver also made the list, along with ‘Star Wars’ bad-boy Harrison Ford and ‘X-Files’ star Gillian Anderson.
Also, former U.S. president Donald Trump made the top 10, well ahead of current President Joe Biden and U.S. Vice President, Kamala Harris.
