It’s the reunion that fans have been wanting for over 30 years — THE GOONIES, those lovable, treasure-hunting child pirates are back! At least, they re-teamed for an awesome video podcast with Disney funny-man Josh Gad. And not just a couple of them… the whole gang was all there, and then some!
The main cast included Sean Astin, Jeff Cohen, Corey Feldman, Jonathan Ke Quan, Josh Brolin, Martha Plimpton, and Kerri Green. They were joined by the Fratelli brothers: Robert Davi and Joe Pantoliano, along with screenwriter Chris Columbus, executive producer Steven Spielberg, and director Richard Donner. And as if that wasn’t enough, even Cindy Lauper joined the fun… which makes sense since her now-classic theme song, “The Goonies ‘R’ Good Enough,” helped to cement the movie into our cultural consciousness.
