BEST FREAKIN’ COMIC-CON 2015 WRAP-UP: FILM/TV

We’ve finally been able to come up for a breath. The 45th San Diego Comic-Con is now in the history books (and perhaps the record books) after sucking all the air out from the pop-culture universe for a week. The Con Guys are giving you a rundown of the whole crazy thing, from the films to collectibles to comic books and anime. But instead of puking it all out in one giant pile, we decided to break it into easy-to-swallow chunks.

So here we collect the best wrap-ups about the film and TV panels, those marquee events that bring out all the celeb-obsessed masses and frustrate many of the comic-book-loving core audience. And the studios came out in force, filling Hall-H and Ballroom 20 with enough films, TV shows, actors and writers to make every fanboy and pre-teen girl squeal with delight.

A few of the biggies stole the spotlight: Warner Brothers with Batman vs. Superman, Suicide Squad, and Deadpool. Lionsgate bid farewell to The Hunger Games with Mockingjay Part 2. Fox gave us all the X-Men and the Fantastic 4. AMC brought The Walking Dead and its spin-off Fear The Walking Dead. HBO came with Game of Thrones. And, of course, Lucasfilm capped off Friday’s studio cluster—probably the most slam-packed Hall-H day in Comic-Con history—with Star Wars, followed by a Star Wars concert punctuated by fireworks over the bay—truly incredible. Although it no-doubt added fuel to the burning Hall-H debates: Are there too many people? Should it move to another city? Should camping out be allowed? Wrist-bands? Is Hall H even worth it? What do you guys think?
