NEW LAST JEDI TV SPOT: Light, Darkness, and Something Else

In the latest TV spot to drop, Luke tells Rey, “Reach out. What do you see?” “Light, darkness — and something else,” she replies. “It’s calling me.” What is that ‘something else’? Many speculators think she’s referring to “the gray,” which, as some have pointed out, is neither light nor dark, but is the balance of the force. That might explain why we heard Luke saying in a previous trailer, “It is time for the Jedi to end.”

According to Movie Pilot:

“But since we know Rey can feel both light and dark as well as that mysterious third quality, her senses are probably picking up on what we assume is the Gray. None of the Jedi or Force users in the cinematic canon have utilized this side of the Force, though it’s possible Rey will be the first. Rey is in the position to become more than just a Sith or Jedi, especially with The Last Jedi seeing an end to the Jedi regime. Rey embracing the Gray side of the Force is a distinct possibility.” Full article >>>

The film stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern and Benicio Del Toro.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is written and directed by Rian Johnson and produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Ram Bergman. J.J. Abrams, Tom Karnowski and Jason McGatlin are the executive producers.
