GOODBYE 2015, FROM DOC, MARTY and THE CON GUY — “BACK TO THE FUTURE” DOCUMENTARY AND CAST Q&A FINISHES OFF 2015 WITH A BANG!

As we all know, Marty and Doc traveled to October 2015 in Back to the Future 2, and this year fans across the country got in on the celebration. As we close out 2015, let’s take a look at a cool event we attended last month to celebrate Back to the Future.

Set your time circuits back to November 4, 2015, as one of The Con Guys, Luke, traveled to the 88mph Film & Music screening of Back in Time at the Alex Theater in Glendale, California. This was special screening of the new Back to the Future documentary that was followed with a Q&A session with director, Jason Aron, and executive producer, Louis Krubich, with special guests Don Fullilove (Mayor Goldie Wilson), Claudia Wells (Marty’s girlfriend, Jennifer Parker), and Al White (the angry bat-swinging dad in Marty’s alternate 1985 bedroom in Back to the Future 2). And Mr. White came with the actual bat prop in-hand.

The cast and crew gave great behind-the-scenes stories about Back to the Future and the making of the Back in Time documentary. After the Q&A, the night headed into the future with a special show by the local Los Angeles band The Flux Capacitors (also featured in the documentary) who were introduced by the one and only Mayor Goldie Wilson himself.

Q&A Highlights

The band kicked off the night with “Power of Love” then went into other popular 80’s songs, then hit us with “Johnny B. Goode,” and closed with “Back in Time.”

After the show the crowd mingled outside with the chance to buy copies of the film & merch, take pictures, get signings with the cast and crew, and of course with a DeLorean time machine parked right outside the theater. It was a night not to miss celebrating 30 years since the release of the original Back to the Future. Be sure to check out the documentary Back in Time on Netflix and other places you can purchase films.

From Marty, Doc, the entire cast and crew and ALL OF US at The Con Guy — g’bye 2015! You’ll be missed, but hopefully 2016 will be even better. We’re heading…..BACK TO THE FUTURE!
