ORLANDO’S MEGACON ADDS 4TH DAY, MOVES TO MAY

Orlando is already in the center of the vacation universe, and routinely grabs the zeitgeist with it’s theme parks and giant celebrations, so it makes sense that the country’s No. 1 visited tourist destination also hosts one of the country’s largest conventions for comic books, film, TV and pop culture. If we look at the map of the U.S., there’s NYCC up in the right hand corner, SDCC in the left bottom, and MegaCon in bottom right. We need a biggie in the top left to make a perfect square.

Anyway, the Convention, which has been going since 1993, next year adds a fourth day to the mix, and also moves from its normal April berth to the last weekend in May, which is Memorial Day Weekend.
